Since summer of 2019 I have been involved in a new project of the Council of Europe in the Republic of Moldova that aims to improve the training in prevention and detection of child sexual abuse in this country.

For me it has been very interesting collaborating once more with the Council of Europe in this issue. I first collaborated with the Council of Europe in the development of materials for the campaign “One in five” and its launch in Spain during 2010 and 2011, a training for professionals in Tunisia in 2017 and the collaboration in 2018 with the campaign “Start to Talk”, related to the campaign of the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sports “Child Sexual Abuse stays offside”.

Last October 2019 I had the honour of facilitating a Master Training of Trainers for kindergarten teachers in Chişinău, the capital of the Republic of Moldova. Then I had the opportunity of training professionals who will continue training kindergarten teachers about the prevention and detection, in line with the work that the Council of Europe has been doing in collaboration with the public administrations of the Republic of Moldova and with the CNPAC (Centrul Național de Prevenire a Abuzului față de Copii, the National Centre for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse).

Some days ago I travelled back to Chişinău in order to supervise a Training of Trainers using the methodology Pepa Horno and I had developed. I was very satisfied watching the great professionals of the CNPAC making adaptations of the methodology to their own styles and to specificities of Moldova. I reflected about my own way of transmitting, and I discovered new keys for the elaboration of materials.

There are some final products expected in this project, I will keep you informed.
